Cut & Etched Marble Floor Logo - The Pheonix. This design is a restoration for an original design in a Philadelphia building. The marble is cut and etched fromn 3/4" and 1" marble slabs. The marble has also been etched (not cut all the way thru) and filled with epoxy to produce the great contrast and detail you see in the photo. The different thicknesses of marble were leveled by the installer on the job site. We were told this floor would be seen in a movie starring Jennifer Lopez and Matt Damon; possibly Gigli, so look for the Pheonix in the floor next time you rent Gigli.
